Pong dueat - Pa phae hot spring is the natural biggest hot spring which arises from underground and reaches almost 4 meters of its the highest located in Thailand. The covers with thick forest in the area Maethang district. town. To get there, take your own bus from Chiangmai no.107 at in front of Maemalai Market, then left the main road to Pai district no.1095, the spring is 35 kilometers away from Mamalai and turn right continous to the spring on the roccky road about 6.5 Km...

Mok Fha Falls are the way to Pai district at km.20 turn left about 2 km. providing the relaxing atmosphere.

Huai Nam Dang National Park is positioned within two districts of two provinces, Mae Taeng district of Chinag Mai province and Pai district of Mae Hong Son province, at kilometer 65-66 on the Highway No.1095- the main road to Pai distric take no.107 from Chiang Mai turn to n0.1095 (Mae Malai- Pai) The Park covers the total area of 179.5 square kilometers, consisting of ranges of mountains wrapped with dense jungle which is the source of several streams. The Park offers the breathtaking viewpoints, especially at Doi Chang and Doi Giw Lom.other interesting point included Pong Ron Hot Spring, Mae Ten waterfall and Lisu hill tribe families scattering around the Park. Camping in the Park can be done after prior permission from the Park Ranger Office.

This Acttractions near Maehongson no.1095

Muang Paeng Hot Spring Located from Pai sub district about 35 km., along highway no. 1095 and 1265. Water temperature is around 90 ?C.

Namtok Mo Paeng Located from Amphoe Pai about 9 kms., and can be reached conveniently by car. The surrounding area is shady and beautiful. Nearby is a peaceful Muser tribe village.

Tham Pla Forest Park where numerous fish live peacefully in streams inside the cave, is located at Km. 17.

Lisu Tribal Village at Pang Paek is another tribal village worth visiting, located some 30 kilometers before reaching Amphoe Pai.

Meo Tribal Village is a peaceful tribal village, located about 35 kilometers further up the track to Namtok Pha Sua, near the Thai - Myanmar border.

Tham Nam Lot Wildlife and Nature Education Station is 77 kilometers from Mae Hong Son town, a laterite road to the left runs a further 9 kilometers. It is a place where antiques and pre-historic remains were found. This huge cave is beautifully decorated with colorful stalagmites and stalactites.

Wat Nam Hu about 3 kilometers from Pai Market contains a sacred Chiang Saen Buddha image, 24 inches wide at the base and 30 inches high. The image's topknot can be opened. Inside is holy water revered by local folk.

Source of the River to Amphoe Pai: Starting from Huai Chang Kaeo, 16 kms. from Amphoe Pai to Wiang Nua Bridge or Ban Chomphon near Amphoe Pai, taking about 6 hours.

From Amphoe Pai to Amphoe Muang: Starting from Ban Mo Paeng, 30 kms. from Amphoe Pai to Ban Pang Mu in Amphoe Muang. The distance of this route is about 70 kms. and takes at least 5 days of rafting, and due to much difference in water level at one point of the Pai River along this route, therefore, two rafts setting are required to change at this mentioned point. More information of rafting along this route can be obtained from official at Pai District Office.
